The 8th intake for Professional Diploma in Jewelry Design- PDJD
The 8th intake for Professional Diploma in Jewelry Design- PDJD organized by the Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) has started. As supporting organization of this course, HKJJA members’ staff are now offered a discount of $1200* on course fee. The offer will be valid from 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2013.
1. Only employees of Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association members are eligible for the discount offer. The discount offer is not transferable.
2. To enjoy the discount offer, please provide proof of employment in enrolment.
3. The discount offer is only applicable for new students enrolling for 1st term of PDJD (not applicable for existing students)
4. The discount offer is valid until 31 December 2013.
5. The discount offer is not to be used with other privilege offer (except discount from membership of HKMA)
6. The discount offer is not applicable for registration fee, and cannot be redeemed to cash.
7. HKMA has full discretion to amend terms and conditions of this discount offer without prior notice. If any disputes arise, HKMA retains authority to final decision.

Fee Adjustment for ATA Carnet 2011
We receive information from HKGCC that the ATA Carnet Application fees will remain unchanged, however the services fee for "Priority Issuing Services" and "1st time Amendment within one week" will be adjusted effective from 1 January 2011. Please refer to the attached for the details. Attachment

Counterfeit GIA Report
Information received from Diamond Federation of Hong Kong on a notice from GIA that a counterfeit GIA report that resembles an authentic version was recently discovered in Hong Kong and has been traced back to Antwerp. GIA has turn this case over to law enforcement and retain a private investigator to pursue this case.
It is recommended that checking should be made on the authenticity of a GIA Diamond Grading
Report by means of free online report check service. http://www.gia.edu/reportcheck/ The GIA Report Check can track diamonds graded from Jan 1 2000 to the present. You need to enter the report number, carat weight and all of the grading information that was issued for that diamond, including a cut grade when available.
