The pace of change is very rapid in this knowledge based age and the need for continuing professional development is fully recognised by the HKJJA. To assist in this endeavour, we regularly run a variety of seminars and courses on topics of relevance in the jewellery field, both technologically and business based. In an effort to improvement management in the widst possible sense, the Association has applied to the HK Government "SME Development Fund" for support for the following projects:

- Professional best practice manual
- HK Jewellery Technology Conference
The Association has a self- service library in it's Hung Hom headquarters, with an extensive collection of local and worldwide jewellery magazines and books, trade publications, newspapers and market information. Members can have immediate access to this valuable information source for knowledge enrichment, research and professional development.
